E3 Spark Plugs, Dixie Chopper and Jason Patison Racing, already running full time in the NASCAR Camping World Series, have decided to expand their team and focus on the west coast premiere short tracks. The new team will field a Super Late Model to be run at Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, CA, “The Bull Ring” in Las Vegas, NV and Orange Show Speedway in San Bernardino, CA. The Whelen Super Late Model Series is NASCAR’s elite Saturday night racing division, it features 500 horsepower circle track machines, piloted by top regional drivers.
“Our NASCAR Camping World season is going great but we wanted to be able to reach fans and customers at a local level, specifically the west coast. This new team is a great way to do that and with E3 Sparkplugs and Dixie Choppers behind us I know we will be a threat to win at every event,” said Patison.
The team will also be supported by Patison’s long time sponsor Lucas Oil Products and by California based Idiaz Label, a printing company that supported Patison during his Modified Championship season in 2006. Patison’s Ford powered Super Late Model is in its final stages of production and will make its debut at Toyota Speedway on May 31st.
